Howard Brandstein with volunteers in Sixth Street’s SOS Food campaign against Genetically Modified(GMO) foods and crops, operating from 1999-2010, leading juicing workshop in our Youth-in-Agriculture Program, operating in 2002 and 2003. Youth-in Agriculture was the forerunner of Sixth Street’s current Teen Climate Justice Program which began in 2021 with a critical $210,000 three-year grant that Howard garnered from NY Community Trust.
